Community leaders in Crestwood are joining together to challenge individuals, organizations, and businesses to show their community spirit by being a part of the Sixth Annual Make A Difference Day on Saturday, October 22, 2011.  Residents of Crestwood will join millions of volunteers for this national day of community service that was created by USA Weekend magazine in partnership with The Points of Light Foundation.

We are looking for major sponsors and volunteers for this event.  As a business owner, with your donation of $200.00 or more, your name will be listed on our T-shirts and you will be included in our advertising.

If you are interested in being a part of Make A Difference Day, we have many projects available for you to take part in:

  • Feed My People — Bring non-parishable food and toiletry items to the City of Crestwood Police Department Lobby.  There is also a challenge that was made by an anonymous resident that will match every case of can goods donated!
  • Warner’s Warm-Up — Bring new or gently used coats to the City of Crestwood Police Department lobby!
  • City of Crestwood Park/City Projects
BE A PART OF THE ACTION

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Connie Melching at 314-729-4842 or Carol Wagner at 314-849-6466.  Lunch will be served at the City of Crestwood Fire Department for all volunteers from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.  We invite you to join us so we can show our appreciation.
