The Board of Aldermen meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month throughout the year. The Mayor and Aldermen are elected to three year terms.

Business License Board of Review  
In May of each year, the Mayor appoints a board of review, consisting of three aldermen. This Board meets as needed to hear petitions for review by persons subject to the business license regulations of the City of Crestwood. The Board may hear petitions for review of such things as business license classifications, valuation of property subject to ad valorem taxes, and the amount of sales or gross receipts subject to percentage taxes.

Economic Development Commission  
The Economic Development Commission advises and makes recommendations to the Mayor, Board of Aldermen and staff on matters relating to the City’s economic goals and strategies.  The Commission is scheduled to meet quarterly.

Fire Board  
The Fire Board acts in a general advisory capacity to the Fire Department. It makes recommendations for improving fire protection in the City, and suggests rules and regulations governing the conduct of the members of the Fire Department. The Fire Board meets the second Thursday of the month on a quartely basis in the Fire Administrative offices of the Crestwood Government Center. The members have two year terms.

The Park Board provides advice and recommendations on policy matters including budgeting, capital improvements, planning, recreation programs, public relations activities, regulations, and other matters. The Park Board meets on the third Monday of every month. The members have two year terms.

Police Board  
The Police Board acts in an advisory capacity on policy matters relating to the operation of the Police Department, including budgeting, capital improvement, planning and administrative procedures, public relations, training, and law enforcement programs. The Police Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Crestwood Government Center. The members have two year terms.

Public Works Board  
The purpose of the Public Works Board is to provide advice and recommendations on policy matters relating to the Department of Public Works, including such matters as budgeting, capital improvement, planning, and City-wide Public Works programs. The Public Works Board meets bi-monthly (Jun., Aug., Oct., etc…), on the third Wednesday. The members have two year terms.
