The Police Board acts in an advisory capacity on policy matters relating to the operation of the Police Department, including budgeting, capital improvement, planning and administrative procedures, public relations, training, and law enforcement programs. The Police Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Crestwood Government Center. The members have two year terms.

Fire Board

The Fire Board acts in a general advisory capacity to the fire department. It makes recommendations for improving fire protection in the city, and suggests rules and regulations governing the conduct of the members of the fire department. The Fire Board meets every three months, on the second Thursday. The members have two year terms.
